In the year of 1966 a group of people got together and a church was organized at the Seatack Community Center in Virginia Beach, VA under the leadership of Dr. L.W. Chase, as pastor. The church members got together and decided on a name for the church, which is Rehoboth Missionary Baptist Church of Virginia Beach.

Dr. James Allen, Jr. was installed as the third senior Pastor of Rehoboth Missionary Baptist Church in January 2023. Dr. Allen answered the call to ministry over 19 years ago and believes in the blessed power of Jesus The Christ to save, sanctify, and serve the whole of humanity.
